BIO
G.W. Averette was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Before exploring his art full-time, G.W. spent his career as a forensic investigator, is an expert martial artist with black belts in Han Mu Do, Hapkido, and Tang Soo Do, and is an accomplished musician having performed at some of Baton Rouge's most storied bars and nightclubs of the 90s.
G.W.'s true love has always been music, art, and the written word. He spent six years arranging his debut work of poetry, A FRAGILE TRUCE, and recently published his second book of short verse, THE SLEEPLESS DREAM: A MEDITATION.
